Oh oh .... Maaco?

Post by evilMarc »

I've been thinking about changing the colout of my car and was wondering if anyone had any experiences with Maaco? I know they have two types of paint - the cheapest with the clear coat mixed in already and a more expensive/standard base coat then clear coat. I'd like to change from a green to black, including painting the door jams hatch etc...<P>As Maccos are franchised if anyone in the Winnipeg area has tried them, I'd love to hear your thoughts on thier work, but any Maaco story would be appriciated.

they can do quality work but for more money u will end up spending at least 1200 for repaint to about 1500 and if u want good one about 2k's gonna do it.

Basically you get what you pay for, pay little - get little, pay more - get more.

depends on what kinda job you wanna get. a friend of mine got his dodge daytona re-painted black, and it cost under $200 i believe. it was that ambassador paint service. it looks pretty good and hasn't shown any signs of wear after about a year. heck, for $200, if you're not looking for an amazing job, it ain't bad.
