Hey all I was just wodering for the front console I put in a new clarion unit, but there is a section under the stereo but above the cigarette lighter which is open, basically enough room for another stereo. I read somewhere that it is supposed to be a cup holder that comes out, but I figured it wrong since my shifter is in the way? Does any1 know what this opening is used for? Thankz<P>Ash

its just supposed to be a spot to put your items while you are driving. It comes out the same way as a head unit does, then just pulls straigh out. Its a good place to put anything, head unit, dvd, engine management devices, etc.
