Yea a tooth brush will work good for certain areas that are harder to get in there and clean, I've used tooth brush on mine :)

I used STP foaming engine de-greaser for a lot of the clean up, then just used an old tooth brush on a lot of the smaller, harder to clean parts. and afterwards i stuck my shop vac in and arround it for a little bit, it was amazing how much road dust and crap it sucked out of there. Its not spotless, but it definately looks a lot better. It also helps to keep your filter from clogging up quick if it isnt sucking in as much road junk. :D
