I'm starting to have some little scratches on the front of the hood + the front and rear bumper is being scratched by Montreal fools. (They all hit me when they park their car!)
SO, I was thinking of buying it but I'm not sure which color to choose, the green one or the blue one. They say on the website : "If the vehicle is teal or a form of blue-green, use the color you feel is appropriate." I have the Sparkle Green color but when I check at Andrew Pakula or on the color chart, mine seems a *little* different. Plus I think here in Canada the color is named "turquoise blue" so I'm not sure which color to choose. I think I'll go for the green tone.
Does anyone else tried it? What kind of color did you use?
I'm also wondering if the ChipStik thing really stay on the car or if it leaves after a couple of rainny days or X months.
In fact : Does the product do a really good job and makes the paint look really good?
Thank you, sorry if I'm not always clear in my questions - I'm not english born.
[ August 08, 2002: Message edited by: FroSTeD ]

I think it's really good, but I'm addicted to Nu Finish now. :D
The Chipstick does work, but only to a certain degree - I have a few dark black scratches on my doors, and the chipstick fills them in and blends them with the paint colour, but you can still see them. Just makes them look less noticeable.

ALSO, the chipstick stops rust from rusting the chips. Depending how aggressively you wash your car after you wax it, the chipstick will stay there. I was happy with the Colour Cure... I have yet to try Nu Finish. I have to wait for my bottle of Colour Cure is done.
For what colour you should choose if you haven't already... go with whatever colour you want your car to stand out with... if you want it to be more blue, then get blue... if you want it to be more green, then get green...

Yeah I've already read your posts about Nu Finish :)
I'm planning to buy a bottle of color cure AND nu finish. It's kinda good because this product isn't expensive at all. Like a ordinary wax. But I want to start with Color Cure for the color and after that a Nu Finish for the good wax!
I'll do the best that I can do fill up the little scratches.

Hi,
I have the 93 30x released in Australia with the same green/aqua colour that thet called "blush green" here. I tried the green chip stick that come with the turtle wax bottle, but it looks more like dark green or black against my paint. Its also a problem getting the wax onto the chipped surfaces. Maybe the body/wax isn't warm enough?
My question is, what's the best way to use the chip stick? And is there a way to lighten the colour of the wax?
cheers.

i tried that turlte wax color stuff and it didnt compare to what i use normally. Zymol is the best stuff i have used to date. that color stick that turtle wax gives u is a crayon and doesnt work in my opinion. Try Zymol, its got a sky blue color to it. at walmart its like $12 for a bottle but well worth it
