what can be done about feeling all the bumps on the road, especially in the winter time? Softer shocks, bigger tires, diffewrent springs? Or is there a solution?

OK, a Buick and a Caddy, I don't want. I've had a RX-7 before and I don't think the ride was as hard as the mx-3. The car has over 100K miles on it so is it possible that the springs or shocks are in need of replacement with aftermarket ones?
