Underbody Neons...How Fragile Are They?

Im prolly getting underbody neons put on next week, i just wanna get an idea on how fragile they are...any problems with them in the winter?

bro. this aren't made for our Canadian winter! there not even that good in the summer... a small chirp or tiny rocks on the road and they're gone!

Everyone I've talked to who has had them installed or have know people who had them installed have told me they all end up getting wrecked and destroyed with a month or two of installing them.<P>Good for show, not to practical for the road. How low your car is will also contribute to how long they might last.

well i got the privelage of breaking my first set before even putting them on the car. then i bought more. the way to do it to stick em up inside to where if bottom out youll scrape some metal before the bulb. i put mine just outside where you grap wiht he jack to lift your car. i havnet broken anymore except the front, about 3 times... so i just stopped puttin em on.

there is a company that has come out with new, more durable ones, that have a life time worranty, even against breakage, i cant remember the name of the compnay though

They aren't bad if you buy the gold series and not the others. The gold series are about $80 more than the others but are worth it.
