Taking Out 92-93 Vents

Has anyone removed the a/c vents in a 92/93? I want to paint them without masking off my whole interior.

The side vents: you gotta pull them out.use a flat screwdriver to get a grip. <BR>middle vent: 2 screws under it must be removed then the vent gets pulled out.
