lowering

i want to lower my car cuz i think it makes the mx3 look alot nicer... i live in canada though, so i can't have it lowered all year round.. someone told me they have coils or something that you can adjust so when winter comes around you can just move it back up... is this tru.. and how much does it cost?<BR>thanks

Yeah, they're called coil-overs. I would suggest ground control(eibach web site) or skunk 2. I'm not sure if skunk 2 makes an application for the mx-3, but I've heard good things about their coil overs.

what about the lowering springs they sell?? they are alot cheaper... can you not bring your car back up with them? are there any other downsides to them?

springs are not adjustable. thats the downside. The GC's are awesome they corner soooo sweeeet and it looks bad a--. I have it about and inch gap between my tire and fender but im gonna drop itr another inch or so...It looks bad a--.<P>-Alex

With the ground control coilovers, you need new struts right? Or does the coilovers come with everything you need?

they mount on your stock struts but idealy u would get new struts to go w/ them
