I see some engines shinning like new ones in some cars. I believe they clean up the engine with something once in a while. Mine is kind of dark gray and looks so dirty, so if anyone know the good way to clean that, please let me know. Thanks.
bungo

Spray your engine with the engine cleaner (put a bag over your distributor) shut the hood and let it sit while you wash the rest of your car. When it's time to rinse, open your hood and rinse it off. It won't gleam like new, but it will take care of all that oil and dirt. If you want to get your engine to shine, you will have to prolly take it out and have everything polished that can be. I'm sure there are other ways, but that's how I see it
Hope it helps

I use castrol degreaser in the purple bottle, spray it onto my engine when it is cold and then let it soak for a minute or two and then use a high pressure hose to was it off. It does a fairly decent job of getting rid of dust and oil.

It's been snowing in my town today, and I will try the degreaser and engine cleaner during weekend. Thanks for your info.
bungo
