Rumor on paint peeling

Ok guys.. I need to know if it is true that Mazda tested a new kind of paint around 93. My paint is peeling like a damn banana, and If they did the Mazda dealership down the street said they would repaint it for free. So is this true? Or am I loosing my mind and hearing things? [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

hey you could be in for some bad peeling problems. mine had a dime size paint chip and it started chipping like crazy when i went to wash it more paint just came off only solution was a crap load of primer and new paint. theres a galvanized finsh on the body of the car and after while paint raises off surface then chips. happened to my <BR>white 93 happily now metalic blue. good luck

How much did it cost you? If the dealership wont cover it (even though they say they will I have my doubts..) I have had estimates anywhere from 1,400 to 8,000! Ya when I herd that one I could not get out the door quick enough! I know they are good though cause they do work for 3 of the nascar teams. But I don't think I can go that rought. $$$...
