hey guys. i have a friend here who's experienced in molding and fiberglass and etc. he's got a set of extra mx3 tails...i'm not sure which year but i can find out...and he created a mold out of it. we did a little experiment, and he used some type of material to form a clear plastic casing for the taillights of an mx3...again not sure which year...and he's currently working on a way to mount these on the taillights. if he's successful, he'll make a pair for me if my year is the same, otherwise he'll make a new mold if the tails won't fit...and he's letting me get the first pair of euros for an mx3...not official though and maybe not a good quality, but euros nonetheless. he may sell them for $100 for a pair so if anyone's interested, just email me. i'll try to post pics soon when he's finished.

encountered two major problems. first off, my friend is struggling trying to find a way to mold the mounting thing for the clear euro lenses or cover. second problem, when using tape to replace the tails (since there are no mounting brackets or anything else), we've discovered that the small amount of heat when using the taillights melts the material that forms the euro, so we're trying to find a different compound materior or someway to keep it cool. i'll keep you guys updated.
