Problem with ventguards!

Post by canadian_ice »

Hi,
I just got a set of ventguards for my MX-3 for christmas, and I can't get them to fit!
It seems like there's enough room at the front of the window, but they need a little more space at the back.
What should I do?!
Merry Christmas!
P.S. They are official mazda vent visors, if that helps.

I've heard comments about the ventguards not fitting right...you might want to ask Santa Clause for a reciept.

Well we kinda bought them off of someone. Could I just shave the back of the ventguard to make it fit? thats the part that goes into the window.
BTW, they're really nice - MAZDA written on the far end.

i'm sure you could easily modify them to fit... just some shaving/trimming here and there. wonder why stuff never fits in the first place. pisses ya off don't it.

finchuck - I was planning on just shaving the back because that seems to be the less noticeable spot. Is that the best? or do you recommend about 1cm on the front AND back?
Thanks.
