Dood its plastic, just find some good paint that wont get all icky in cold (i noticed you are in canada too) and for the heat of the summer... not water based thats for sure..
just my two cents

Re: How to Dye Dash?
don't know what all places you have up there but here in the states we have a place called pep boys. they sell dye in an aerosol. i haven't used it myself but my friend used it about 2years ago and it still looks as good as the day he did it. go to any auto part store and check out there paints and dyes.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

Re: How to Dye Dash?
if youre looking to spend some money, go to an interior shop that does vinyl. they will color the piece or remold it for you. although costly, it should be fairly permanent and well done.
dave

Re: How to Dye Dash?
Two words: Dash Mat. If you can't find a white one for the MX-3 look into having one custom made.
Dying and painting big things like that is not the best thing to do. Makes selling the car real hard and usually looks like crap after a while regardless how good it is done.
