How to paint windshield wiper arms???

hey, i just got spray paint from a hardware store to paint my wiper arms. i just took thm off, sanded them a little and then painted em with several light coats and the sprayed a clear coat over it. dont know if this helps but hey,<BR>later<P>chris 93 RS
