yup, after putting basically all my summer vacation into fixing up my mx3, putting klze into it, even putting a stereo in the thing, it gets f**ing stolen. And in an area i'd least expect this to happen! Pasadena, MD!!
screw cars..i'm through with this ****. People can't respect anything. I spend all my money (read: MY..not my parents or anyone elses) and some ahole takes it 8 DAYS after i get it registered w/plates and start enjoying the work i put into it. Talk about a blow. I had over $4000 in that car, my stereo, cell phone, even my presription glasses.
[ August 30, 2003: Message edited by: Gro Harlem ]

Hey man don't think about suicide its only a car and it can be replaced whereas your life can not. Be smart about this...
Now about the car, call all your local law enforcement, call the cops in Pasadena, just raise hell about it!
My dad had his car stolen and he raised hell ASAP and they found the car in another city where guys were going to light it on fire... They were caught and they were charged, insurance covered it all.
Just go all out and make as much noise as you can... Be smart about your life dont lose it over a car

Do you have any clue who could have taken it?
It was a red GS, right? Is there some way I can identify it if I see it? I'm not too far away so you never know if it might show up around here.

Hopefully you'll learn to insure your car from now on if you've got money into it.
At least there's a decent chance of it showing up there.
Here in Vegas, they take your car deep out into the desert, strip it bare, and leave it for garbage. You're lucky if the cops find your car in 2 months even though it might be out in the open all that time.

update: the police recovered it. Turns out some tow-truck company towed it along with a buick that broke down behind me and didn't tell anyone.
thank god....i still have to fix the car though, the power steering pump basically fell apart causing the belt to rip in half :( .

All you do is pull the lock cylinder with an automotive dent puller. Car starts and drives.
Thats awesoem you got your car back and somebody hadn't joy rided it to death or worse.
[ August 30, 2003: Message edited by: TsiMiata ]

I think I'd rather have someone joyride in my car than a towtruck haul it off. You know how many times I've seen towtrucks dragging cars while parts of the car were scraping on the ground making nasty noises? Just this week, I heard a tow truck hauling off a car on its drive axle......you could hear it sqeeling even when it was a 1/2 mile down the road.

naw the tow truck that hauled it was a flatbed....so the car was fine. I got $300 from the company for the misunderstanding, yay.

Not enough tow companies use flat beds, and even more would tell you to go F yourself if you asked to be reimbursed for thier mistake. All in all, I can honeslty say I hope all tow truck drivers die a slow, miserable death.
