Ok, KFZE.. Im stumped.

I've recently finished my swap. Heres the specs..

Its a 2.0L KFZE w/ a KL Intake manifold and TB.
Im using the KF15 ECU/K8 VAF ((thats the correct combo) verified it works))
Im using my K8 disty (Ive verified it works) and set it to the middle position.
Ive used Ricks HOW-to pages to set the TPS/idle screw) http://rs-productions.com/RSP_Motors/tech/tps/tps.htm
using the k8 FPR solenoid
No EGR
Walbro 255 HP fuel pump.
Shimmed oil pump (3mm)

Now the issue...
We started it up on the 1st try, everything worked great. Had a little power steering pump noise.. but thats expected cause the fluid was low from the swap and the air had to be worked out. We started it several times, no problems. Ran great, wasnt noisy at all.
We put the Crossmember back on it, threw some wheels on it, and lowered it back to the ground.
Now the thing will not start for anything!!!!
It turns over, gets plenty of spark/fuel, but will not start for anything.
I've swapped FPRs, TPS, verified the spark.
Theres no abnormal sounds. Sounds like it wants to start,
Ive checked for vaccume leaks, verified hose connectivity.
Verified all connectors are on and connected.
Checked all the grounds, even sanded down the connector and the body to increase/verify conductivity.
Im stumped! Anyone have any suggestions?

Im sure the compression is fine, I'll check that tonight.

Try turning the distributor to both of it's extremes and see if it tries to start any more than it does now. If it does "almost" start better than you've jumped a tooth or more on the timing belt.

Turns over like it wont start, fires, but will not start, kind of like if you unhooked your VAF.

I have all the requirements to start, but will not start up, start turns, fuel flows, disty fires. :(

What about grounds? Does your IM, heads, block, and tranny all have good ground points?

well, My compression in some cylinders is too damn low. 1 had 35PSI.
Time for a new motor!

Damn, sorry to hear man. I got a kfze to go in my car after the winter, it seems like a bad luck engine around here.

Wait a minute. You just bought a KFZE, than you find out that its not working because of the compression in some of the cylinders and now you decide to buy a new engine?
How much did it cost?
How long did you have it?
Did you buy it used?
What is going to happen with your KFZE? Are you going to get it returned or something?

Im not sure yet, I may just replace the rings. Problem is head gaskets, I could have some made.
I may build a 2.5L and just use the KFZE cams. Duno yet, Im pretty dissapointed.

I thought Lazzyie could get KFZE head gaskets for a couple hundred? Or if what someone said on here about some Suzuki being sold domestically having a KFDE engine, maybe gaskets can be had stateside even cheaper?

Otherwise, I vote for the KLDE rebuild with KFZE cams. My KLDE project isn't all that bad. My costs are: block w/heads $60, crank journal machining $60, head gasket kit with all gaskets needed including valve stem seals $150, ZE pistons and rods $100, KLDE VAF $30, a KLZE block to pwith sleeves because the other block I bought was already machined $100, cam and rod bearings $80, chrome piston ring set $80. Holy crap...that's $660! I didn't think it was that much. Better not my wife find out :) But at least I know everything will be new on it, and shouldn't have to worry about anything on it as long as I don't nitrous it or something.
