My tranny is going out and i really want an LSD. Ive done alot of research, and i found out that it only came out of a KFZE, and it uses kl inner splines and k8 outer. am i correct....Has anyone does this yet. and is it possible just to buy the ring and pinion gear and put it in a mx6 tranny, i want longer gears...any feedback would be appriciated...and i also found this place that has them

If you contact Mazda Competition Parts, you can order a Quaife LSD with an ARP bolt kit that bolts right into the stock tranny. I think it's about $1,400 U.S. though...

Can't remember the contact info off the top of my head, but if you go to [url=http://www.quaifeamerica.com,]www.quaifeamerica.com,[/url] and check out the applications list, there is a link there with contact info. Note that it is listed as being for MX-6/Probe, but the tranny is exactly the same.

Uh, don't bother with Mazda Comp parts they won't answer your emails. I'll bet my next paycheck on it.

I had no problem getting a response from them, either via e-mail or by phone. I would, however, recommend phoning rather than e-mailing if you want a prompt reply...

Yep your right ebsouljah with all the LSD research youve done. Its exactly what i did with my setup and its all really easy to do.Even with ****ty tires LSD is badass. Theres gotta be a cheaper resource than those places for 1400 or whatever. i got mine for 200$ with the inner splines off the kfze.but it was the last one the guy had down there so pls dont msg me for info of where to get them cause if he had more i would hook you guys up.
