Its optional. I believe they go in a different location, and may help stiffen the engine.

Ok, think I will get instead of the Mazdaspeed engine mounts, because they are cheap as hell and I don't want to wait for Corksport if they don't have them in stock.

No.. wrong answer, if you want a stiffer motor then you need the MS mounts. The SRD ones will help, but minimal difference at best. They go under the front clip that is not where the motor places stress. The front and rear mounts take 90% of the abuse. Get those only if you are in a serious pinch.

Yeah I can't imaging those bushings really doing much.. They just kinda pad the engine mount member (where the lower/tranny mounts bolt to) but even the stock bushings are pretty tough and the bolts are torqued to like 60ftlbs or something...

Ok, then I will get the engine mounts. Just hope that corksport have them in stock. Mazda original engine mounts isn't good, or what?

Filling your mounts with urethane works wonders as well and you save a couple hundred bux off the MS mounts.

Corksport will probably say they are in stock but it will still take them forever to get them to you. IIRC it took almost 2 months to recieve mine?
