I was wondering I heard that people should wash out there intake after so long. I am wondering if that is true and is the prm filter washable and how would I wash it?

So I found out that it is washable so how do I wash it out. Just run water through it or put something with it also?

I don't have the same intake, but I think the filter inside is just a normal cone filter like most of us have. You can just take the filter out and then wash it in your sink with soap and water. Then let it dry and put it back in good as new.

It won't work properly unless you oil the filter after cleaning it. Get a recharge kit from an auto parts store.

Do not use soap and water, it needs to be oiled with a special oil.<p>Goto an auto parts store and get the K&N filtercharger kit. Use that, follow the instructions and its good as new. Soap can dry out the cotton filter. The soap was made for the sponge type filters.
