Hi,
I can't seem to get my fuel pressure regulator to work.
So, I'm wondering if maybe the mechanic that put in the 2.5L switched the fuel lines.
There's 3 right next to each other coming out from under the firewall to the engine bay.
The passenger's side line goes to the charcoal canister.
That leaves 2 more.
The way it's set up on mine right now is with the driver's side as the pressure line going to the filter then to the rail.
The middle one is the return line coming out of the regulator's side of the fuel rail.
Can anyone confirm if this is the way it's supposed to be?

are you talking about an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator or the oem?..if it's stock then your line seems ok

Well, this is how it was with the stock regulator after I got it back from the engine swap. But my aftermarket afpr won't work. Needle is stuck @80 psi, even if I switch the fuel lines on the afpr.

the screw to adjust your fuel pressure is probably all the way in or out...try playing with it..happend to me

and your line are suppose to go like that:

from oem FPR to "in" of aftermarket FPR, then from "out" of your FPR to tank...
and for the vacuum just tee another vacuum line

Yeah, I tried playin with it from all the way in to all the way out, vacuum connected & disconnected, nothing changes it. Thing is, this had happened already with the first one I bought, sent it back for a replacement, and it's doing the exact same thing. So I was wondering if maybe I was doing something wrong. Thanks for the reply.

well don't screw it all the way in or out because I don't think it'll work. jsut screw in the middle..try reversing your in and out maybe you got those mixed up

Well, my lines were on the wrong side of my rail, and the car wouldn't start at all.
