how do i know if its klze

i have a chance of getting one of two engines from mx6s one is from a 95 and the other a 98 are they both klze or how will i check the guys say they are but iam not 100% sure

As this page says look for KL31-101 & KL31-1A1 stamped on the outside of the cylinder heads.

iam not able to go and have a look at them i also have a chance of a v6 engine from a 1997 mazda 626 is this likely to be a KLZE all the guys are saying they are i just thought i would check with you guys cause ill take the one from the 626 if its the right one??

if you are looking for a KlZE your most likely source is an import jap spec MX6. All the standard UK Mazda 2.5 V6 (626,mx6,xedos9)are 165-168 bhp.
