I am just about ready to put an exhaust on my 92 gs 5 speed v6. What i need to know is what would you guys suggest i put on it? I dont want it to sound like a weed eater but i dont want it to sound to much like an old mustang or anything like that i just want a good pure racing sound. Any suggestions?

are you looking for performance here?.if so go with 2.25 piping...and I have 2.25 piping with a hi flow cat and ractive muffler...don't think i could have a better sound than that

Yeah i was looking for a little bit more performance. And How much does it cost to get all of this done? If i asked for the 2.25 pipeing with a hi flow cat and ractive muffler?

I got a Ractive axle back bolt on. All stainless steel, seamless welds, and 4 inch tip. I just put that on all rest is stock, it bolted right up, and sounds awesome. Like on above couldn't get better sound. I got mine used and got good deal. New I think they run damn near $300 for the axle back. This set up is definitely worth every dolla of it tho. I got a custom Magnaflo installed with 2.5inch piping with a high-flo cat and no resinator... and i woulndt trade it for anything.. i love the way it ripps at 5000 +... amazing

Is there any system that i dont have to get custom fitted? Cause i know that it cost money to get it fitted. I just want one that will make it sound a little bit meaner. I dont really care if it adds power but i would like it to.

it doesnt take much to make a custom.. i had mine done in an hour total

What did it caost you?
