window handle :(

so im trying to fix the handle for the window. i bought the black box with the spindle in it but not the cables. i tried to take it apart and make it work then the thing exploded on me. then i got anther spindle the lil black box the rail and the riser for it and i messed and it exploded again. the junk yard doesnt have anymore mx-3, are dealers open today? man do i suck...

Don't post in more than 1 forum, the moderators don't like it...<p>Anyhow, if I understand what you are trying to say, you bought a power window switch for the drivers side, but no wires. What you should really look into doing is going through the Sell/Trade Forum and see if people are parting out their cars. If they are, see if they have the drivers side power window switch. I really don't recommend trying to splice wires and create your own connectors for the power windows, because it is more trouble than it is worth in the end...

nono..they're manual windows. what happened was the black plastic casing with the white circle that holds the coiled up metal in it exploded. we've got like 3 of them. 2 are apart and 1 is for the other side so it's backwards and won't work if installed. not to mention the cable/wires are all kinked and messed up.
