My starter died on my tonite at work, and fortunately i still have my old K8 in the garage.

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't, but i just wanna make sure...my K8's starter will work with my ZE, right?

whoa, you got a starter with your ZE? I used my K8 from the get-go and i never had a failure or problem starting yet.

Honnestly, im not sure anymore...when we did the engine swap, my mechanic didnt mention anything about the starter. The way my dad was talking, its like it came with the engine...guess ill hafta look more into it

huh the starter is not on the engine...how could you have got it with the engine? maybe i am wrong but i doubt it

really, thats neat, i didnt know that...and i called my mechanic earlier and i dont have a spare starter...so can i can go with any starter for the Mx3/Mx6/626/Probe/Millenia v6's right? Or is it s tranny specific part, which would be Probe/Mx3?

where is the starter mounted anyways?

its underneathe the disty...

..and it bolts right into the bell housing of the tranny.
