Hey all, I just came back from checking out a mx3 in ottawa, and bought it.. picking it up tuesday, it was in pretty good shape (1992 gs red)..the only bad thing i noticed about it was the engine ticking.. but I came here after searching through google, and realized its nothing to be worried about.<p>add another person to the ottawa area people

Sweet, ya to cut down on the engine tick that many of use have, do an oil change and us 5w-30 instead of 10w-30. That has worked well for a lot of us. Good luck!

i hate ticking ive replaced 3 rocker arms and im looking at 2 more. the whole engine will be rebuilt eventually. unintentionally of course.

Go to a synthetic oil, Like Pennzoil, does away with 99% of noise.
