Screech from PS belt

The Power steering belt screeches when nearly on full lock - is the belt too tight or too loose? I can never remember!

It's been shut down because of copyright infringement, I think.

that's a shame 'cos it's going to make looking after our cars a bit more difficult - the Chilton's manual I've got is a very poor one compared to what was on-line

Is it really the belt and not the tensioner bearings. If it is the bearing replace them before they seize and throw the belt. I waited too long and it killed my water pump.

change your belt, its too old.
