Strange MX-3 on eBay

Here it is.<p>It appears to be a non-GS 1992 MX-3 V6. Roll-up windows, no sunroof and no cruise control. They say it has ABS, but I'm not sure about that. Everything else seems normal, except the "Mazda", "MX-3" and "V6" badges are in the wrong places and crooked.<p>So, is this a weird car or is it just me?

My guess would be that it originally was a 1.6l and then somebody swaped the engine to a V6 (It's notexactly the easiest job in the world, but it can be done.)
That would also explain the missing rear-wheel mudguard.
And you're right: If it's an engineswarp, it shouldn'thave ABS unless they installed that as well (I have no clue about how easy/hard that would be.)

THere's one other thing that seems outta place here, they say the exterior colour is GOLD, and in the pic, it's clearly SILVER! I'd be very weary of this one, I mean is it really a pic of the car or are they just showin' a nice one, to get rid of crap???

I'll guess it's an original GS. The windshield wiper in the rear and the dual exhaust. The '92 RS didn't have either in the US.<p>later,

its a base model V6 nothing weird about it. As for the badges being in the wrong place maybe it had a fender bender and they body shop put it on wrong. Not all V6 cars have the rear mudguards, mine didn't come with them and its an SE, the color isn't silver its "Elegant Beige Metallic" color code 6M which was only availiable on the 92 model year.

My 92 GS never came with power windows, lock, sunroof, ABS, or cruise and I don't think any came with the rear mud guards only the fronts.

It's a GS. They want $3.500. I don't think they will get it.

My 92 GS has the read mud guards, cruise, power windows, semi-power locks (Drivers's isnt, passenger is)<p>Notice the Mx-3 and V6 are on the wrong side of the car, mine are on the left
