Get a KL-03 from a 93+ MX-6/ProbeGT/626. It has to be from the V6 versions though. (I'm sure you knew that but just throwing it in.) You can get them fairly easily and cheap because they come out of so many cars. Its 164hp 2.5L V6 so its a pretty decent improvement w/o any weight added since it weighs pretty much the same as the MX-3 GS engine. It's very easy to install, the same thing as puttin in a new MX-3 engine exactly except you should change the VAF and the ECU. But you can always get those parts from the car you get the engine from. And for the future, they're pretty good for turbo to about 10psi. Better for boosting than a KLZE but less horsepower if you dont wanna boost. I hope that answers your question.

My friend uses a T3 turbo. He runs his turbo on almost stock internals, besides injectors of course, without a stand alone or anything. He's running 8.5-9 psi daily driving safely. He also has a bottom mount intercooler, its underneath the engine bay. With a stand alone and some internal work he can easily push more boost. Hope this helps alittle because I dont know about wastegates or anything like that yet. Give me some stars, I have 2 now and I'm aiming for more. haha
[ September 07, 2003: Message edited by: Illa Killa ]

I'll definitely go and find out. BTW he says he has the same setup as many people on Probetalk so you could go there for some ideas. I'll try to get some pics for you and find out everything.
[ September 07, 2003: Message edited by: Illa Killa ]
