soon, very soon...as my sig say, im waiting for the KLZE ECU from Lazzyie, my corksport order seems to bee siting in vancouver since the 30th after crossing the border, but its on its way...i ordered my clutch but they sent the one for a 2.2l 4cyl mx-6 instead of the 2.5l v6 mx6, the right one is comming in friday, i still need to buy a waterpump, some belts, gaskets and fluids, no big deal, im gonna get those monday...but what i really wanna do is finish polishing the valve covers and intake manifold before she's installed. I'm gonna get my flywheel resurfaced and shaved during the swap.
I'm tempted if getting it installed using my k8 ecu, but the last thing i need is unexpected complications during the install and ****ty gas milleage for a few weeks, i think i'd rather wait
[ July 04, 2003: Message edited by: Nd4SpdSe ]

Another thing you should do during the swap is to get your flywheel resurfaced and lightened. That should cost less than a $100 and get a good clutch. I got myself a carbon kevlar clutch from Southbend for like $350 u.s., it's been a year and so far I can't complain. Grabs like a mofo when it's warmed up. Plus a stainless steel clutch line, like let's say another $50 with all the shipping and everythin. So there goes $500.
Do you already have a catback exhaust and headers? If not you should look into that. That will make the engine work at it's peak.

Another thing, I would definately get some N2O with that. That's like around $600 the last time I checked.

The stainless clutch line is on its way, i will be getting the flywheel resurfaced and shaved to 12-13lbs
As for exaust, i will be using my stock for a few weeks until i get engine in and see what i have left from my 5g's, headers for what i have read are expensive
As for No2, my sister's boyfriend recommended to stay away cause it'll seriously fukup the engine, he had it on his old Cavalier (i guess the think was beefed to ~400hp, but he rolled it one winter)

nd4spd---where did u buy your klze? When I got my klze I went and got a custom front strut bar. It helps a whole lot for traction
and only cost like 200 bucks. Bro I
really would like to start club klze and
bpt and drive up to cayuga for a little
autocross racing. If interested let me
know after your swap is worked in alittle. Now that the klze swap is a
lot more common we should start a hardcore mx-3 club just for hooked up mx-3zes.

You can get HotShot headers for like $350us, from RR-racing, and than modify it to fit the mx3. That would be the best choice.
