I am in the market for headers for my klze and I heard that pacesetter would be best suited for the klze. The prob is fitment with these headers. Neone successfully installed these properly and what gains can i expect?
Thx in advanced

they are'nt a direct fit but they will bolt up to the heads but you will have to push the cat back a few inches.
But i know a guy with a KLZE in a 626, and he says the difference in power is like night and day. Not sure what that means, but he says it made a big difference.
I plan on buying these headers for my KLZE after I pass emissions and get the full exhaust redone. I'm going to wrap them in some exhaust wrap, hopefully that will prevent them from rusting.

no they do not fit easily, by the time mine finally fit on the ze i couldnt get a good seal on the y pipe to headeres. the front flange hits the oil pan and the rear header flange hits the frame so u cut those off then u cant get a decent seal. save ur money for a 65mm tb or something else

I am not sure about power differences cause when I installed my HOTSHOT headers, I did everything at once when installing the KLZE motor.. However it installs rather easy. It all bolts right up, with just a few mods to it .. Do a search on this there is plenty of info out there already on this subject... :p

7-10bhp is about right not wheel hp though. Pacesetters fit like crap but they are redesigning them right now. They do make the most HP though.....

the pacesetters are 2 1/4 piping correct? The hotshots are 2 1/2 and bosal is ?. I think that with hotshots you will loose torque and gain some high end power which would be better for nos or supercharged engines. I guess you can cut and weld the ps headers to the y pipe for maximum fitment but it would be nice to see some dyno graphs and pics of install.
