I got 10.4mpg last summer. It was HORRIBLE. But this year I got new plugs, wires, o2 sensors, and the proper ecu so hopefully that'll fix that!

10.4?????????!!!!! you better be pushing around 300whp with that kind of mileage. even dodge charger gets more than that and its heavy V8 beast.

As odd as it may sound most MX-3'ers who do the swap tend to get better gas mileage then they did with the 1.8L.

yeah i read that if you use the k8 ecu it gets ****ty mileage.
I plan on running a KLZE with k31 cams, curved neck IM, 10:1 compression and the KLZE ecu.
I deliver pizzas so i don't want hte mileage to be too horrible, but i don't think it would be that bad since the motor is moving a less heavy car than it was designed for.
The stock ratings for the KLZE are 21/26.....i'd be happy getting low 20's city and I don't drive hard when i'm normally driving...

Thanks for your input!

did anyone ever try running with the k8 ecu and 1.8 vaf. im using the a spec 2.5 ecu from probe gt with the 1.8 vaf, maybe this is what causing the car to burn so much gas. any help and opinion would be great. thanks
