i cant stand people, ok well the other day i got a letter from the police department saying that i have been spoted by a person in there car, every day going 90 plus on my to school on side streets. what bull****! the truth is that i go to school at 7:00 a.m. and i dont trust my seld driving that fast that early on a 50 mph road. pluss that roat is so packed at 7:00 am that there is no way that i could go faster than 60 mph, and i never have gone faster than that. oh and get this they reported my car as having a spoiler i dont but they got my plat number. well the good thing is i dident get a ticket or any thing just a notice, pluss i decided to start taking the freeway to school it takes the same amount of time and i can go faster there. lol

People can cite you IF they see you speeding? <p>Damn, I'm in so much trouble, I was afraid of that.

the other day i was driving to my girlfriends and i made a quick lane change to get in the turning lane, sure it was split second but hardly "wreckless", anyways these old pissed off bastards that are pissed cause im young each called seperately so it looked like 2 different people called the police and they like followed me around, anyways an officer came to my friends door to talk to me, he was nice about it but i was pissed, if there wasnt laws about killing people that piss you off there would be a few less a--holes on the road.<p>the other thing that makes me mad is im a good driver, I never speed and im usually pretty passive. I have a friend who bought a Crown Vic at a police auction....it's a used cop car rims and all.
For kicks late at night we will pick someone at random and slowly follow them. It's funny as hell to see that ordinary people even when they are doing NOTHING wrong, if they think a cop on their *** they will drive in circles and avoid going home until we get tired and leave. If they only knew how hard we were laughing.
What's my point? nothin' just thought it was funny

I am pretty sure a cop has to catch u in the act to issue u a ticket. <p>Another side note, get this. I was driving down the highway a cop ahead of me. He slows down lets me pass, I get by him and the cherry's go on. I pull off to the side, he asks me to roll up my windows cause according to him "there are only 2 types of people that drive with there windows down by a police officer on a day like today (slightly over clouded). Morons and people with Tinted windows, roll up your windows!" Bam a--hole issues me a ticket for tinted windows, found out from my friends dad, who is a cop that he had NO right to pull me over or issue me a ticket.

hey tonight on my way home from work i was pulled over! i was driving on the same rout hgome i take every night... i turned onto the high way and passed a semmi that wsa doing 30 in a 55 and a geo metro. well i get 2 milesdown the road into the middle of town and BAMM!!!! a cop is right on my bumper, lights and sirens going off like the 4th of july. i pulledover thinking he was going to pass me and he stopped behind me. i asked him why i was being pulled over... and his reply was that i was racing! after 5 mins. of arguing, he told me that he didnt have any lights on sitting in a parking lot 2 miles back and he saw me racing. i asked him how he was going to right me a ticket, cause he didnt have any extiorer lights on his car on. he stumbled a little in replying and told meto slow down. i didnt get a ticket, but still. i wasnt driving by any car, i was doing 63 in a 55, and i was racing? how? it must havebeen that invisable viper i was smoking.

The Viper musta been 1/2 a block behind you HA!!<p>I was stopped last summer by a cop who was parked. I made a wrong turn in a residential neighborhood and had to turn around and a cop was just sitting there with his partner. He put his hand out the window and flagged me down. He just wanted to ask me where I got all my stuff. He claimed he had the same car (and maybe he did) and that he was doing all kinds of stuff to it. He said he had a really expensive suspension. I said what kind. He didn't know...just that it was purple. I'm thinking if something is really expensive you should know what kind it is and not just the colour. Then he said he got all his stuff at" ***** *** on 123 Fake ST. " when he said the address he read it from his notebook. Then he goes "from a guy named ********" again looking at his notebook. I put two and two together and realized he was probably doing an investigation and wanted to see if I was dealing with the same dude. I knew the place he was talking about and RUMOUR has it (that's why I didn't put the name here) that you buy something from them, get it installed, then a few days later they show up at yer house late at night and steal it all back. When you go back they try to sell it back to as if it was a return. I don't deal with them anyway but as he kept looking at his notebook I just said have a nice day officer I'm very busy and he let me go.

Get this, friend of mine is delivering a pizza in a company 1984 Chevette late at night. On a dark road he sees that car gets right on his a$$ and is riding him. So he gets pi$$ed off and hits the gas to speed up a bit, thinking to put some distance between them. Now keep in mind this is a Chevette and can't go that fast. So next thing he knows the car behind him is a police cruiser with his cherries on signaling for him to pull over. So he pulls over and the cop runs up to the window and my friend asks "was there something I did wrong officer?" and the cop, with adrenaline flowing through him and his hand ready to draw the gun, screams "yeah, you were trying get away from me after I signaled for you to pull over!!!". Well, after some bitter words he let him go without anything, heh.

but ya sweet jesus windsor police are not all that friendly i get pulled over for the dumbest reasons, i think im up to 6 stops and i have yet to get a ticket ! i keep my isurance and onwership stuck on my dash so when i get pulled over i have it ready and waiting along with my drivers lisience

yeah down here in wisconsin it's not any better, i got a 112 dollar fine the other week because someone "saw" me driving at excesive speed. i went to the police station and asked him on what grounds can i get a ticket from a cavilion that has NO radar gun, and there was NO police officer around. all they have to say is that as long as she writes a written report i get a ticket. so my question is can anyone give anyone a ticket now a days or what? cause if thats the case them i think Mr. Cheif of police will get a ticket in my name what a ***hole. and to top things off, they treated me like i was a well known punk or something really pissed me off. the last words out of my mouth to him was "What ever happened to our justice system we had in this country?"

I would refuse to pay that ticket and if I lost my license, Id sue.

sorry to here about that z_x71 that rely sucks there should be no reason for them to give you a ticket. i would take it to a juge and say that ther is no grounds to give a ticket because there is no proof that your were speeding.
