CEL flashing

After i did the swap i came up with #16 code,Egr. Anyways on my way to work this morning the cel went off for a few minutes then came back on. What in the world could be causing this? Just wondering if it could be a o2 sensor but i am pretty sure we got code 16. Any help would be nice thanks

If you have a bad egr valve the light will go off and on. Your egr only opens when you are cruising. It has no effect at idle or full throttle. I don't have enough trust in myself to tell you what to do about this, but I would say you likely have a bad or at least stuck egr valve.
