kl31 ECU

Post by dennisvs »

I received my ecu from Lazzyie yesterday !
I'm so happy !!!!
My milleage improved with 70% (believe it or not)
Cold start is perfect.
Sounds like a normol mx-3 instead an old harley fatboy.
No more unburned fuel and lots of smoke.
The idle is stabile etc (to much to mention)
one issue I found.
I saw my engine is getting hotter than with the k8 ecu.
Is this because of the EGR ?
I know egr support is not there on the kl31.
If this is the case, anyone got an solution?
Anyone got the same thing?
Do I need a bigger radiator or something?
Please let my know.

And for Lazzyie : Thanks again pal !
You made me realy happy.
And also, thanks for the trust !
Dennis

Never heard of anyone trying to run an OBDII ZE ecu unless your converting your car to OBDI.

There are no OBDII ecus as OBDII did not exist in Japan. You can get a totally different ecu/maf setup that comes out of the Japanese Millenias if you really want to...

is your temp stable and hot, or is it overheating? Maybe it's just a coincidence that it's happening now?

No, the temp is stabile.
It is not overheating, It is just warmer than it was with the k8 ecu.

IT's normal because the KL-ZE not use the EGR and eventually the ecu of KL-ZE don't drive the EGR. The EGR it's use to lower the temperature of they engine for avoid low NOx. So in Japan don't have the same emission text
