K8/Kl

Ok, since everyone is swapping engines all over the place with these cars I've got to ask a few questions. 1)Did they use the same block for the KL and K8? Just asking because they weigh close to the same(or so everyone says) 2)How much can the K8 be bored out before the block won't hold up anymore? 3)How much can the KL be bored? 4)On 91 octane how much compression could be ran on either of these engines before detonation? I know Dave said 13:1 for the KL would be doable, but i don't know if that was for under 94 octane. Thats enough for now. Thanks in advance for any input on this.
