Hi guys, I need help
Since yesterday, my transmission does not want to downshift into 3rd when i'm driving. It works well when I upshift it into any gear, including 3rd, it's just when I downshift into that particular gear that the problem occurs. it's not grinding or anything, it just refuses to go in untill I kinda slide it in 2nd and put it back in 3rd.
also, there was a big *** snowstorm yesterday and all the streets are covered with snow and I think ( can'T remember) it did it last winter too during a snowstorm! I'm guessing it's something like ice stuck in the guiding arms or under the stickshift or something like that!<p>does anyone have a guess on info on that!
please answer fast!

there are two bushings one on the shift link and one on the shift stabilizer link which ties the shifter to the tranny. one of these may be gone or you have a bent shift fork if you have beat on it . but could just be ice because of how cold it always is up there.
