I was planning on getting some racing (bucket) seats, and I want to go cheap, like those seats on ebay or something.
My friend who has a 2001 toyota celica suggested that it would be cheaper to maybe put celica seats in my car, and just reupholster them in red perhaps. Does this sound possible and/or a good idea?

the back of the celica seat is slightly taller than the mx-3 seats but they will fit once you get new rails. I test fitted them in my car once
