I am selling it. Right as i am almost home from work today to damn thing stopped shifting to 2nd and 4th, and it started smoking. I parked it right away and it proceeded to dump all of it's oil onto the ground. It also dumped the brake fluid sometime from a few days ago until now cause it's empty too.<p>Tow truck is "on the way" (they say). I figure... $500-1k. what do you all think?

Sounds like your clutch line blew, as for the oil

y dont u fix it with a ss brake line. its only like 40 bucks if u get ripped off. then again you cant only buy one except from some dood on probetalk. they are custom made to fit mazdas perfectly. at least it would be functioning till u get rid of it

Ok, the mechanic told me what was wrong. I guess the transmission tore itself up and cracked the housing. the guy said he could fit 3 fingers through the hole. the car was somking because the clutch was oil soaked and also needs to be fixed.<p>just for the trans, clutch, and rear main seal + towing charges and inspection costs... $2,030 just to get it on the road.<p>My parents are loaning me the money to get it on the road, then i have to sell the car to pay them back. this sucks. I am going to sell my jetski too, then take out a loan and get another sportbike. I should have never strayed after my CBR was stolen 4 months ago and i bought this POS instead of another bike.<p>anyone want a teal '92 mx-3 gs 5-spd?

Why don't you just do a 2.5l motor swap...you'd probably save money...and get more power
