basically what im gonna try to put together with the help of everyone is a list of places people have ordered there klze from and there impression.<BR>so if you have a klze<BR>where did u buy it from?<BR>price? <BR>impression?(any damages to motor, customer service, etc.)<BR>would buy from same place again?<BR>thanks <BR>Dan

lucky star auto. Toronto Ont. Canada<P>1500.00 plus tax<P>Engine was in good shape but had sat for a while making the oil seals leak and it threw the timming belt off. came with all power accessories. motor runs fast.<P>The service is satisfactory, 30 day warrenty on parts only .. they removed the serial number plate when I bought it? shifty?<BR>

do the ze's that mathews sell come with the curved neck manifold? bc im pretty sure sunsengines and noyausa come with straight neck<BR>Dan

Swapjdm.com $1500us shipped to my door. Not to bad to deal with. Engine was beautiful when I bought it.

Japan Auto in toronto.<P>They can get any type of KL-ZE.<BR>cost me S2,250 +tax<BR>Mine was missing the Disty, but I went there and the others had them.<BR>The engine was super clean inside and out, and it pulls hard

.<P>The engines come with a 2 year 60,000 KM warrante.(If I remember right)

besides the transmission, and disty what other mx-6 parts do you need? can all the other parts used be stock? how bout the ECU? doesn't the car top out at 140km/h, if the ecu isnt swapped? Thanks

Though I have no info on this to give because I'm in the process of buyin the KL-ZE. Thanks guys for the contacts this will truly help me in this lengthy process. By the way just became a member to this site...great to be with more fellow Mxer's

1710.00 with ECU installed, but I got a deal. The engine was 10K old, all was pretty much brand new. The oil pan was damaged, so we just replaced it with old K08. Service, great.

Got mine for around 1200cdn just the engine...came with the straight neck mani.... then I swap the mani...got this price cuz it was the 2nd engine I got from them.... first was a KL-DE.

might sound like a dumb question but can't you use the standard K8 tranny with an uprated clutch? Or would I need to buy the 5Spd 'box too ?
