93-97 probe/626/mx6 engine will work. you can use your existing tranny/ ECU. If you use your ECU just make sure you buy an engine from a OBD-I model year

Nope. Pre-96 had OBDI and 96-97 had OBDII...BTW you've got "93 SOHC" listed...you sporting a four cylinder? If you are you'll definately need the ECU from the donor car...and alot of other bits. Take look at my post regarding the "ODB1 - odb2 swap" yesterday...the pit falls are pretty well laid out.
Dylan

when I installed my ze the oil seal beneath the flywheel leaked oil all over the clutch packs and made the clutch slip .
thoes seals like to be wet in oil all the time or they dry out and leak
I wish some one told me what I'm telling you , that is a bastard of a job to do for 1 stupid seal

Ive been calling around, asking for something between 93-95, and everyone asks what production date mine is? Does that really matter?? I know that i need one with the obd1 ecu, which is(if i remember correctly) 93-96....why do they ask for the production date when i say 94 or 95??? Thanks
