replacing my 94 GS alternator

here's the deal. i have to replace my alternator in my 94 GS, and I have to clue where to start. do i go from the top or bottom, what do i need to remove to get to it, etc. this looks like a major pain in the *** . nothing like my civic. someone help please!! [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

do i need to pull the radiator and fan out to get to it??

Unscrew the bolts that hold it to the engine. Unplug the connectors that hold it to the wiring harness. Remove belt. Pull.

with all the stuff in the way of the alternator, it doesn't look like there is any room to sneak it out anywhere.

I've never taken it out myself but from what I've heard it's a b*tch to get it out, if you are going to do it just be patient I guess.

i went through this process before, took me about 40 minutes. From what I remember, I had to remove the passenger side fan, that's it, and then you can actually pull it out.<BR>I followed online manual, maybe you should check it out
