Post by 5spd_GS »

Blah.. hey people...
so we had an awesom Toronto MX-3 meet last night, and my car was working perfect, i woke up this morning to goto work.. annnd there is nothing. No starting of the car for me.. so i check the battery, there is full power coming from it, check the spark.. and there is None.. No spark whatsoever. i called CAA to come check it out, they pretty much told me what i already knew.. now i gotta get towed, AGAIN (last time it was the clutch) and pay out more $$$ to get the damn thing fixed!! GRR!!!
:(

Your question, if that is a question is kinda confusing. Did the car turnover for you but not start? What was the voltage at the battery? What method did you use to check for a spark?
If the car has no spark and is turning over normally my first guess would be a bad distributor,(ingnitor module).
A quick check under the hood for loose connections at the distributor wouldn't hurt
either.
Andy P. 93 GS
