ok i installed

i put on ym exhasut i clamped my new muffler to the pipe but it boucnes around when i drive how do i secure the muffler so it doesnt bounce

ive seen shops use a metal band that wraps around and secures the muffler

Two choices if you are serious about it stopping..<P>1) Weld. there is no better solution<P>2) Get a Metal Strap on there, not half as good as the weld though. <P>i would think if you wanted the muffler to be half funtional, you would want it to muffle its OWN noise before it muffles the exhaust.. LOL<P> :D

I think u should weld it....it would stay on longer...unless ur welding job sucks.. :D
