I believe I am experiencing the distributor nightmare with my GS. I have replaced the whole unit once already and tyhe symptoms have returned a year later. No here's the funny thing...if I drive the car below 3000 rpm the car will not stall. If I drive above 3000 rpm (were all the fun is)
the car will stall. Is this typical? Is it just the ignitor module or does the whole distributor need replacing....again?? I found some info on Jeff Abram's site regarding replacing the module. But does this really solve the problem or will the symptoms return down the road???

Maybe you replaced your old disty with the same old model, not the revised one.
It is possible and then you may have the igniter failing, cheaper if your can buy it alone.
I think the old was labeled KL01 and the new one KLY1...
