I am planning to replace my muffler with a high flow, but there a million and one out there. I have looked at the Ractive Carbon fiber tunable exhaust and am strongly considering it. However back in high school all these kids were getting mommy and daddy to buy em a civic and putting a muffler on it that sounded like a wet fart. Im looking for something with a mild sporty sound, nothing that will rumble, or sound like my car has a bladder problem. Any suggestions? if you have a high flow on your mx, hows it sound? What was the gain like? what would you reccomend?<BR> [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

if you change the piping, go no larger than 2.5", also a dual 3" outlet exhaust looks nice and sounds even better. I think a lot of peeps on this board have it. Mine is a ractive dual 3"

for a K8 with boltons, 2" is the biggest diameter you should go on the exhaust side. Any larger, and it will kill the low and midrange, which is where the K8 NEEDS help anyway.

ya go for something that's not a fart can.....ractive isn't the best out there and the carbon fibre muffler is HUGE!!.....they look small in the pictures but up close they are huge and gay....look into maybe magnaflow and go not higher than a 3 inch tip to stay clear of rice
