thatd be kinda interesting because the ecu needs info in volume not mass you would have to do mapping to change it from mass to volume for the ecm to recognize it

the 97 and up 626 use a maf but that also mean a different ecu and there was some other small changes on the engines(something to do with disty and coils)hope that helps you out.

I was doing the read up on a MAF conversion on a mustang gt... It sounded very very complicated. Is this just a snap in peice? Doesn't the ECU have to be tuned in some way.

Trust me on this one, that's a hot wire MAF. You can't use one on your MX-3 unless you radically modify your ECM or go to stand alone.
