Knocking in reverse

Post by Hy300 »

I just got my MX-3 off of jackstands, I started replacing the lower control arm two weeks ago and finally had everything finished.
I started her up, allowed it to idle for about ten or fifteen minutes to get the fluids circulated, then went for a drive. As I was driving around I noticed my alignment was incredibly off, but better than it was before I replaced the lower control arm. It also sounds like the rear brake rotor is rubbing against the pad. However, when I put it into reverse and start to back up I can get to around 15-20mph before I hear and feel a loud pop and then all momentum drops off.
Any ideas?
