Anybody know the weight of the stock 15 inch rims without tires? Thanks!

About 2.5 henways.

theres no way the stock rim can way 7 lbs does anyone know the real weight?

They're about 17 pounds if I recall correctly.

It would probably help if you said which style GS wheels you are talking about. :shrug:

I find it hard to believe its 17 pounds. They dont even feel that heavy with tires on them. Someone should test.

92 gs rims are 14 lbs weighed them awhile ago.
93 Mx-3 GS klze swapped(sold)
96 Integra LS DD
91 Crx Si drag car
2.0L sleeved gsr block, forged internals, skunk2 valvetrain, HP racing intake manifold, Holset H1 turbo, 1000cc injectors, short geared lsd transmission, 3" turboback exhaust. 20 psi :)

crap I thought they were over 20, because when I bought rims I took in to concideration dropping the weight from my stock rim setup. O well I guess I added a few pounds... thats kinda dissapointing, its tuff to find a rim that's less than 14 pounds and looks good.

mazda has always used light aluminium wheels, they get very good wheel companies to make them. They usually try to make the wheel lighter every coupple of years, the miata has had 3 rims that look exactly the same but each are different weights.

At the bottom of his post where it says CAR:....like yours and mine and everyone elses.
And I know mx-3's since 1992 when I bought mine. :p
