Valve covers seals and Phenolic spacer kit job
Valve covers seals and Phenolic spacer kit job
Hey all,
I'm looking into fixing the valve cover seals to deal with the oil in the sparkplug wells this summer. I wanted to put the phenolic spacers in at the same time and change vacuum hoses.
couple of Q's
1. is outlaw engineering reliable and honest if I order the spacer kit from them?
2. What should I look out for while replacing the seals/doing the job
3. I'm thinking of changing to synthetic oil - should I get the oil system flushed and cleaned before changing?
4. Anybody change to synthetic gear oil like redline MT90?
Appreciate any advice on this.
Thanx
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

you dont need to flush the system to put in synthetic, but its not a bad idea if you havent done one in a while. Also, ive used Redline gear oil and liked it....much smoother shifting.
