Engine light

My check engine light has been coming on lately but when i check it out everything seems to be ok. What could it be? Has anyone elses done this? 94GS

I too have a 94 v6 with check engine light that comes off and on, mine is the EGR position sensor and the Intake air temp. sensor. Haven't fixed it yet though, but being a similar age it could be that there is a weakness there. It really needs to be checked as suggested above though, or shell out and get a mechanic to do it for you.

PLEASE. My check engine light has been coming on for two years now. Mechanics were no help. Now I have a new alternator, temp sensors, oxygen sensors, battery, replaced VAF AND a nice bright check engine light.

so...this is a common thing on the mx3?<BR>i'm guessing that if the car runs ok then we should either ignore the damn lite or pull the bulb? btw, i have the same problem.

marksoden, take it to a mazda dealership. If they can't find it take it to another mazda dealership. They can't just say "Well, we can't find what wrong...your screwed."
